Welcome to Centro Cultural Colombo Americano, a non-profit binational center, officially recognized by the US Embassy in Bogota. Our basic purpose is to improve cultural understanding and authentic and peaceful relationships between the people of Colombia and the United States. These goals are achieved by teaching English as a second language, offering cultural programs and displays, hosting events and meetings for various partners in the Barranquilla region, and by many other services the center offers to the community.
The Centro Cultural Colombo Americano (CCCA) is a non-profit, Bi-national Center that has supported social and linguistic development in Barranquilla for more than 58 years. The CCCA works to provide academic and cultural programs for all people in the Barranquilla area, with the aid of the U.S. Department of State, the American Embassy in Bogota, and the Fulbright Commission, among others.
The Centro Cultural Colombo Americano in Barranquilla is a non-profit Binational Center that has provided educational programs for English language instruction, bilingual technical certification programs and cultural activities since 1956 when it was founded by Colombian and American citizens interesed in bulding cultural understanding and awarenss and improving relationships.
